Beautifully Damaged by L.A Fiore

Ember Walsh is a quiet, shy and gorgeous girl and she doesn’t seem to know it. Sharing an apartment with her bestfriend Lena, she often spend most of her time either at home reading or waiting tables at Clover.

Trace Montgomery is the type of love ’em and leave ’em kind of guy and known for hot badass look with different girls in his arms every night. He’s mostly closed off to people around him and doesn’t talk about his family even with his friend, Rafe.

When this two met one night at the club and Trace got to saved her from the harassment of some drunk guy, Ember instantly felt the attraction and the urge to know him better. Trace couldn’t seem to stay away from her either but his dark past and secrets that he feared will make Ember hate and leave him for good makes things difficult between them.

“From that first night at Sapphire, it’s been you, Ember — longer actually.”

…..

“I may have been a player but you’re the only woman with whom I’ve shared my bed, both sleeping

and making love in it. I never brought it home, Ember.”

What I love in this book is the the fast-paced of the events without the author actually ruining the flow of the story. There are so many scenes and lines I like in this book and the part where Trace finally revealed his secrets just broke my heart.

All in all, it’s a story about love, grief, forgiveness and acceptance.
